FAQ's

Are your e-bikes road legal in the UK?

Yes. All of our e-bikes meet the UK EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) regulations:
Maximum motor output: 250W
Motor assistance cuts out at 15.5 mph (25 km/h)
Must be pedalled to engage motor assistance (with throttles restricted to walking speed without pedalling)

What is the minimum legal age to ride an e-bike?

You must be at least 14 years old to ride an EAPC on UK roads.

Where can I ride an e-bike?

You can ride anywhere a normal bicycle is permitted, including roads, cycle paths, and shared-use trails. You cannot ride on pavements unless marked as cycle routes.

Do I need insurance or a licence for an e-bike?

No. EAPCs do not require insurance, tax, or a driving licence in the UK.
